Okay yes that’s me. I am hooked on ceramics and have been for many years. I began instructing pottery about 8 years ago. I am fascinated about everything in pottery and love to learn, take workshops and discover new techniques. I started making my own glazes shortly after getting back into pottery. Probably the primary reason was that I am extremely frugal (yes you can save money by making your own). Also I like the science and enjoy controlling the outcome.
I started out by using books, videos and workshops. Invaluable resources include: John Britt’s “The Complete Guide to Mid-Range Glazes” and Gabrielle Klein’s “Amazing Glaze“. I also joined The Ceramic School to learn more and my journey continues every day as will yours. If you are “hooked” on ceramics you have come to the right place.
